Introduction:

Pre-monsoon rains lashed all parts of Sindh on Thursday and Friday, making the weather pleasant and enjoyable. But these rains are causing power outages and drainage problems through out all areas of Sindh. And due to these rains, many incidents occurred that caused loss of human lives.

Two children were killed and several others injured when roofs collapsed due to torrential rains in various areas of Sindh.13 people, including two children, were injured.

Heavy Rain in Hydrabad:

Pre-monsoon rains in Hyderabad caused several trees and electricity poles fall down in the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company. Due to which there have been incidents of large-scale power outages. Complaints of network outages and cellular companies being shut down due to heavy rains were reported from different parts of Hyderabad.

Due to heavy rain, the condition of the roads deteriorated and dirty water stagnated in places, causing difficulties for pedestrians and motorcyclists. All citizens are worried due to the drainage problem.The rain also exposed the engineers repairing the road and building the road.

Due to heavy rain, water stood on the road leading to Qadam Gah Moula Ali (RA). Which caused many difficulties for those attending the Mourning Procession and the general public.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recording the rain:

Up to 53 millimeters in Tharparkar.
49 mm in Shaheed Benazirabad.
43 mm in Hyderabad.
24 mm in Mirpurkhas.
18 mm in Badin.
16 mm in Thatta and Sukkur.
Some towns in Shaheed Benazirabad appeared to be badly hit by the downpour as water entered homes and also affected markets.
