Introduction:
PCB has announced 18-member squad for two-match Test series against South Africa. South Africa team to tour Pakistan for two-match Test series. Along with two Test matches, T20 and ODI matches will also be played between the two teams.
But the PCB has not yet announced the Pakistani squad for T20 and ODI. The two-match Test series against South Africa will begin on October 12 and the Pakistani team will be led by Shan Masood.
And ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 champions South Africa will face Pakistan in the first Test to be played from October 12 to October 16. The first Test between Pakistan and South Africa will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The second match of the Test series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played from October 20 to October 24. But this match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
This will also be followed by a series of three T20Is and three ODIs from October 28 to November 8. But the PCB will announce the Pakistani squad for T20 and ODIs later.
Three new players have been added to the team squad, including Faisal Akram, Asif Afridi and Rohail Nazir. The team will be further trimmed and the playing 11 will be announced before the first Test match.
The PCB has further said that for the pre-series camp, the players will a train from today until October 8 under the supervision of Red Ball head coach Azhar Mahmood and coaches from the National Cricket Academy.

- 31 October – Second T20I also played at Gaddafi Stadium, in Lahore
- 1 November – Third T20I also played at Gaddafi Stadium, in Lahore
- 4 November – First ODI played at Iqbal Stadium, in Faisalabad
- 6 November – Second ODI also played at Iqbal Stadium, in Faisalabad
- 8 November – Third ODI also played at Iqbal Stadium, in Faisalabad
